SEAPLANNER METOCEAN

SeaPlanner works with the specialist forecast providers to create a site specific weather forecast package. We assess the installation methodology of the project and the meteorological and conditions at the site to inform the design of a package which will support the safe and efficient execution of the project.

Forecast providers supply a detailed site-specific weather forecast for display within the SeaPlanner application, with information potentially including wind conditions at 10m, 50m and 100m above sea level, and a full 5 day weather forecast including visibility, barometric pressure, lightning probability, K-index and air pressure.

On sites with meteorological masts and wave and tide measuring instruments, measured actual live feed data can also be displayed within the SeaPlanner web application. The incoming meteorological data is then stored so that historic trends can be analysed and displayed and compared against forecasts.
